Body text should feel comfortable across a wide range of screen sizes. On a large desktop display, the text should remain substantial enough to read without appearing oversized. On a phone, it should stay clear and legible without forcing awkward line breaks or making each paragraph feel too long. Fluid typography helps maintain that balance by allowing the text to scale gradually rather than changing abruptly at only a few breakpoints.

Line-height also affects the overall reading experience. When lines are packed too closely together, a paragraph can feel dense and tiring. When they are spaced too far apart, the sentences begin to feel disconnected. The goal is a steady rhythm that makes longer passages feel approachable and allows the reader to move naturally through the content. This is a hyperlink.

Paragraph spacing should clearly separate ideas without making the page feel fragmented. Each paragraph should read as part of the same section, while still giving the reader a moment to pause before the next thought begins. This balance becomes especially important on editorial pages, service pages, case studies, and other layouts that include several consecutive paragraphs.
